Claudio Gaudio is a Toronto based writer. His first novel Texas, was published by Quattro Books and has in part, been translated and included in an anthology in Calabria, Italy. The anthology was edited by Vito Teti and Francesco Loriggio and published by Donzelli Editore. Texas was shortlisted in 2013 for the RELIT Awards. His work has appeared in Exile Literary Quarterly, Rampike Literary Magazine and Geist, and has been reviewed in Descant Magazine.
His second novel, I’ll Be, was published in 2023 by Guernica Editions, and is the subject of a short film by the same name. He is currently working on his third novel, The Appraiser, an investigation of racial and economic discrimination in the banking industry, as told from the point of view of a deceased real estate appraiser.
